    Hi, thanks for the great tutorial!
    I have a question regarding your thumbnail rendering – how do you give the simulated wires a tubular volume? I suppose you cannot just poly extrude a tube because the collision wouldn’t be quite right. Do you need to create the shape first then do the simulation in order to get correct twisting and collision effect? Or is there any way to derive directly from simplified line simulation result?

      After downloading your sample project I see there is a thickness setting so for the render in this post we could just change the thickness.

      Originally when I saw the render I thought it was a transparent tube with cores inside and that’s why I asked the question above. I guess if the tube is more than solid strings than we could just simulate it using the same method and add additional objects inside after simulation is done.
