This is Part 2 of our 3D-Printer Tutorial. In Part 1 Chris made the GCode editable in Houdini and in this Video he will modify the Code and add some fun noise to it. But our main focus in this part, will be the exporting of this modified code to use it with your 3D-Printer. Chris will guide you through it and also show you some tricks to check for potential error sources.

  1. Thank you so much for this tutorial! However, I’m completely stuck on adding a sweepcurve in the file node. I’ve tried saving the geometry from different nodes and adding it as an file and then just creating a line from the set xyz node and saving it’s geometry. Pls help
